Canadian music legend Rita MacNeil and Celtic superstars, The Chieftains, star in the exciting music special, Rita MacNeil's Celtic Celebration.

Taped on location in the Celtic capital of North America, Cape Breton, MacNeil draws on the enormous popularity and revival of Celtic music and dance with guests, The Chieftains along with fiddling sensation, Ashley MacIsaac, the hot Celtic group Leahy, (who toured with Shania Twain), several Celtic dance groups and North America's only coal-mining choir, Men of the Deeps.

The Special was taped in one of North Americas oldest seaports, the Fortress of Louisbourg, originally built by the King of France, destroyed by the British and restored by Cape Breton. Other locations include a spectacular mining site and the beautifully restored Victorian Savoy Theatre
